Wonderful location - just next to Boylston Station - situated in the downtown Theatre District close to Chinatown & South Station - easy walk through the park to reach shopping and historical tourist spots. The location is perfect: just next to Boylston Station - there are countless cafes, bars, and restaurants in the neighborhood. The blocks extending south of the Common make up Boston's Theatre District, which complements its many venues with numerous fine restaurants, nightspots and hotels. Chinatown lies just east of Tremont, and to the west is fashionable Back Bay.

Une maison merveilleuse loin de chez soi, en plein centre de tout ! Le lit principal est très confortable et le canapé se déplie en un grand lit qui a parfaitement convenu à mon fils de 1m85. La cuisine avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et la machine Nespresso fait un café si bon qu’on n’a pas besoin de Starbucks. Nous avons pu préparer le petit-déjeuner chaque matin et c’était un endroit idéal pour se détendre après avoir parcouru la ville à pied. Excellente pression d’eau dans la baignoire/douche complète. Chauffages, ventilateurs, linge de lit, oreillers et serviettes supplémentaires… vraiment tout ce dont vous avez besoin est sur place. Nos hôtes nous ont envoyé des liens pour le Go City pass à prix réduit, ce qui valait vraiment le coup. Ils ont été très serviables et réactifs tout au long du séjour. Comme mentionné par d’autres, les escaliers menant à l’appartement sont raides, mais j’ai 50 ans et un genou fragile, il suffisait d’y aller doucement… et ce petit inconvénient en valait largement la peine pour tout ce que nous avons eu et l’emplacement est imbattable. Il y a une station de métro à un pâté de maisons ainsi que le Boston Commons, qui est un vrai plaisir pour se détendre et observer les passants. Nous relouerions à 100 % ! Wondeful home away from home and in the middle of everything! Master bed is so comfortable and couch folds out to a nice large bed that fit my 6'1" son. Kitchen had everything we needed and Nespresso machine makes such good coffee u dont need Starbucks. We were able to cook breakfast every morning and it was a great place to relax after walking the city. Great water pressure in the full bath/shower. Extra heaters, fans, bedding, pillows and towels...truly everything u need is right there. Our hosts gave us links to the discounted Go City pass which was totally worth purchasing. They were so helpful and responsive thru the whole visit. As mentioned by others the stairs up to the apartment are steep but I'm 50 with a bad knee and just had to go slow...and that small inconvenience was so worth it for everything we got and the location cant be beat. There is a T stop a block up along with the Boston Commons which is a joy to just relax in and people watch. We'd 100% rent again!!!

Misha has always been super responsive and helpful during our stay, and he delivered what we needed even when it was snowing outside. I recommend this place to people who are traveling to Boston!

Downtown Boston is easy to navigate. It’s compact walkable has an abundance of taxis yes they still exist! And Uber's are always a tap away. What makes Boston so accessible is it's public transportation system. The apartment is located only one block from "Boylston Street" station of Green MBTA Line. The MBTA is Boston’s public transportation system and it’s a great way to get around quickly and cheaply. The “T” refers to the subway which runs throughout Boston into Cambridge and into nearby suburbs providing access to all the attractions located in Boston. Just look for the big T in a circle to find a stop. You can also take buses to get all over the city and the Commuter Rail is an easy way to get to points outside of Boston. You can buy paper “Charlie Tickets” for single or multiple subway rides at vending machines located in most stations. When your ticket runs low visit a fare vending machine to add value. A single basic fare for the T is $2.75 with a Charlie Ticket although if you pick up a Charlie Card (a plastic card like a credit card) the fare is lower at $2.25 for one way. You can load the Charlie Card with an amount of your choosing so it's smart way to explore the city. They're available at almost every T stop and are free to get. Once on board hang on! Being one of the oldest public transportation systems in the country the T is not always the smoothest ride. Driving downtown can be a challenge with its dated road layout and limited parking options but it’s the most convenient option for travel outside of Boston Proper. If you have to part your vehicle you can download "ParkBoston" app and remotely pay for meters. All meters are free starting 8pm till 8am everyday, Sundays and holidays. There are also several paid parking lots and Tufts parking garage around the block. Please check out a website called Spot Hero to find the most updated options and prices
